DIG.I.WATER – DIGital innovations for Islands’ crop WATer Efficiency and Resilience

Starting in June 2025 and for the following two years, our Organization is pleased to participate as one of the Partners in DIG.I.WATER – DIGital innovations for Islands’ crop WATer Efficiency and Resilience, an innovative project aimed at optimizing the adaptation of the primary sector to the impacts of climate change in relation to water.

The program focuses on the development of a pioneering, open-access digital platform covering every agricultural plot across Crete, Cyprus, and the Aegean islands. It is funded by the Interreg VI-A “Greece–Cyprus 2021–2027” Cooperation Programme, with co-financing from the European Union (ERDF) and national resources of Greece and Cyprus.

Specifically, the platform aims to provide digital precision services for the agricultural sector, enable smart water management and crop efficiency, and support climate change adaptation through sustainable strategies.
