Supporting border-area schools with recycling & composting equipment

In October 2025, our organization, in collaboration with ExxonMobil, provided recycling and composting equipment to three schools in Paphos — Polis Chrysochous Gymnasium, Kato Pyrgos Primary School, and Kato Pyrgos Gymnasium–Lyceum — including blue and brown 56L bins, 70L pedal bins, and 150L composters.

This initiative impacted more than 300 students (246 at Polis Chrysochous Gymnasium, 24 at Kato Pyrgos Primary School, and 31 at Kato Pyrgos Gymnasium–Lyceum) with the aim of strengthening the daily practice of recycling at school.

Special emphasis was also placed on metal collection together with Cans for Kids to support the Paediatric Department of the Makarios Hospital, while students also took part in cleanups in neighborhoods and on beaches—such as the coastal promenade of Polis Chrysochous—through the Let’s Do It! Cyprus campaign.
